Volunteers needed for Willow Care Day at Chileno Valley Ranch - Saturday, August 18, 10 AM to 1 PM

A fun work day at the spectacular Chileno Valley Ranch! Please sign up to help give the willow sprigs we planted last February a chance to get through the hot months to come. The willow sprigs will need watering, an application of DriWater, and weeding. We need to ensure that enough of these sprigs survive to give the gullies and streams some good cover. Once they are established, more species of plants and trees will grow under their boughs.

Please bring hats, shovels, trowels, gloves, good walking shoes or boots, long pants, sun screen, water and a sack lunch. We will all eat lunch together after the work day.
We will be joining the friendly folks from the Marin Conservation League, who worked alongside us when the willow were first planted.
